The Mouse King | One-of-a-Kind Found Object Assemblage Sculpture
$155.00
Meet Gordy; The self-proclaimed Mouse King!
Perched upon an elaborate throne of tiny swords, this little ruler presides over a chaotic collection of treasures (forgotten objects, broken toys, mechanical bits, and assorted found objects). Every surface holds another detail to discover.
This one-of-a-kind sculpture was built entirely by hand. The King himself is sculpted from air-dry clay, while his throne is made from popsicle sticks, clay elements, and tiny cocktail swords.
This piece of art is designed to be viewed from multiple angles. The entire sculpture is painted with a rust and patina finish for a "statue" feel.
Measures approximately 11.5"x9"
Materials used: clay, paint, glue, wood, and various found objects
